Youll be empowered by team and business performance data, internal and external engagement survey results, and the impactful relationships youll build across the business to stand for the health of our incredible team. In this role, youll work closely with and report to our VP of People Operations, join our People Operations Leadership Team, and also become a member of our Director-level, enterprise-wide leadership team which will provide you with exceptional exposure to all areas of our business and deep insight into our strategy, ways of working, and long term aspirations.What youll do:As a partner to leadership across Custom Ink, youll be responsible for the overall design, compliance, and implementation of practices related to employee relations, engagement, and performance enablement.Key areas of work for this role include:

  • Nurturing and developing your direct reports to their highest potential, engagement, and performance
  • Partnering within Team Development (HR) Centers of Excellence to take our people practices to the next level of clarity, efficacy, compliance, and care for people along the entire team member lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding)
  • Leading our Team Member Survey processes including the delivery of the survey company-wide, ensuring a consistent approach to gleaning actionable insights, and empowering the business to proactively address opportunities head on
  • Owning matters of employment compliance and serve as subject matter expert on a variety of related issues in partnership with internal and external counsel to mitigate risk and ensure our guidelines and policies remain current and progressive
  • Championing sustained high performance enterprise-wide by ensuring our performance enablement processes (i.e. performance plans) are well understood and easy to implement
  • Acting as an influential and visible leader across the enterprises known as the champion for team member experience, performance enablement, and complianceHow youll be measured:At Custom Ink, we love data and metrics!       • Diverse and progressive senior HR management experience in a fast-paced, people first environment (experience in organizations with a diverse range of jobs is preferred)
      • Deep expertise with regard to compliance, employee relations, performance management, and investigative processes
      • Significant people leadership experience (both directly for your team and through influence with senior level stakeholders and partners)
      • High Emotional Intelligence (EQ) & natural inclination to seek to understand and help others
      • Demonstrated ability & credibility to coach leaders and team members through complex employer/employee relationship matters including leveraging sound judgment and knowing when to confirm a decision to ensure compliance (this includes good judgment around when to escalate matters to senior leadership and internal/external counsel)
      • Proven ability to navigate hands on team member interactions with care, grace, and cool under pressure
      • Experience delivering and facilitating training, presentations, and/or workshops
      • A successful track record of managing employee programs, projects, and initiatives
      • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
      • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action based data-driven insights
      • A proven growth mindset and drive to exceed expectations and constantly learn and develop yourself and others
      • SPHR, PHR, or similar certification is required (in progress toward certification also acceptable)In addition, you must share our company valuespracticing the Golden Rule, taking Ownership and driving and embracing Innovation.The Perks!
