This position is located at Dyess AFB, TX, and is a Full Time, Exempt position. This position will report to the Vice President, Technical Services.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Site Manager/RTO is the primary on-site representative responsible for oversight of the contract operations and maintenance services of Air Combat Training Systems installed and provides RTO services IAW AFMAN 13-212 Vol 1 to the aircrew as required. This position requires either a DCID SECRET Clearance or the ability to obtain one. Prior aircrew experience is required (know and understand ground-to-air threats parameters and procedures and be able to provide guidance to threat operators). Training for operation and maintenance for system specific requirements will be provided. The duties and requirements of this position include but are not limited to the following:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Accomplish all supervisory duties for all other Technical Services Division employees at this site to include, but not limited to, personnel appraisals and approving leave. Validate all time sheets and travel requests prior to submittal
  • Interface with Government representatives for all site-specific contract issues, including scheduling, planning, and project coordination. Attend scheduling meetings and conferences, and maintain direct coordination with the on-site QAE/COR
  • Manage available resources (human and material) to ensure timely and efficient accomplishment of quality operations, maintenance, and training services
  • Assist with development of site daily, weekly, and monthly schedules
  • Ensure compliance with on-site security requirements and monitor COMSEC accounts
  • Ensure effective and timely equipment corrosion prevention and control actions are taken
  • Ensure operations, maintenance, and training services are accomplished, controlled and reported in a timely manner. Ensure RAMPOD requirements are complied with
  • Ensure effective availability, use, control, accountability, and maintenance of GFE and CFE tools, equipment (including vehicles), supplies, and TMDE management and calibration and Manage applicable supply accounts (e.g., inventory management, etc.)
  • Ensure conformance to all Quality Management System Requirements, including plans, policies, procedures, and work instructions. Demonstrate commitment to quality policy and objectives, process orientation, continuous improvement, and customer focus
  • Implement, effectively manage, and enforce safety practices, and ensure adherence to all government directives pertaining to fire prevention and safety responsibilities
    Additional Responsibilities
    • Operate, monitor, and perform RTO duties on the ICADS display systems and sub-systems, including Link-16 Battlefield Operations Support System (BOSS)
    • Utilize Link-16 and UHF/VHF radios to inject virtual and constructive tracks, threats, targets and messages to facilitate realistic training of both Close Air Support and Dynamic Targeting sorties in support of Air Combat Training missions

      Minimum Education/Experience Requirements
      • Minimum Undergraduate Degree required, Master's Degree highly desired
      • Five (5) years of verifiable leadership experience
      • Rated mission expertise in Air to Air and/or Air to Ground Operations is required
      • Expertise as Aircraft Commander or Weapons System Officer highly desired
      • B-1 and/or B-52 Experience highly desired

        Additional Requirements
        • US Citizen // Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one is required
        • Proof of the COVID-19 vaccination is required; except where an employee is legally entitled to an accommodation
