Build your future with Project Solutions, Inc.Project/Position Responsibilities:The overall purpose of this position is to provide temporary engineering services at 7 Civilian Engineer Squadron (CES) to perform engineering design and project management and ensure accuracy of real property records and documentation for engineering projects. - The Furnishings Manager shall perform services required to develop, plan, program and execute Facilities, Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (FSRM) projects. - The Furnishings Manager shall perform all related Contractor administrative services required to perform unscheduled work, sustainment work (preventive maintenance), corrective maintenance and enhancement work which are not to be limited to: minor repair work, building automation or controls, and material requisitioning. -The Furnishings Manager -shall perform all related administrative services required to perform assigned work, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) and any correspondence to meet Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements. - -Job requirements

• 2+ years -relevant work experience
  • No license/certification required.
  • Ability to manage, inventory and distribute furnishings located in warehouse and 12 dormitories.
  • Ability to conduct physical inventories as described in AFI 32-6000
  • Ability to request, receive, issue, store, and coordinate delivery and pickup of all Government-owned furnishings used in authorized facilities within established timelines.
  • Ability to identify and report suspected abuse or loss of property for items damaged, destroyed, or lost.
  • Ability to purchase, receipt, issue, installation, warranty tracking, maintenance, repair, and replacement.
  • Ability to prepare and update annually one- and five-year long-range furnishings plans.
  • Ability to submit furnishings budgets to the Housing Chief as required.
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle, navigating throughout Dyess AFB on both paved and gravel roads.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience -with Government (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid mathematical aptitude and effective project management skills.
  • Autonomous-An independent individual who is self-motivating and needs little supervision.
  • Detail/Accuracy Oriented-All procedures and policies must be understood and followed.
  • Ability -to perform in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
