Opportunity Specifics: Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Dates: December - Ongoing Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday Also Considering One Week per Month Availability! Shift Hours: (6:30am - 3:00pm) Practice: 13 Operating Rooms Coverage: Own Cases (CRNAs are Independent) Call: No Call Cases: General, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, Vascular & Regional Blocks (No OB, Hearts or Transplants) EMR: Epic Job Description: Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Performance of clinical intervention as needed Candidate Requirements: Active Texas State License Board Certified American Board of Anesthesiology Certifications: BLS, ACLS Availability: 2 Days per Week Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity!
