Duration: 13 weeks/n - Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 -
19:00)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Unit: Labor & Delivery Recovery
Room/n - Orientation: 16 hours in-person plus 6-8 hours of online
modules/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $2040/n /n/nRegistered
Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
required for Texas nursing jobs (must be in hand at submission)/n -
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required/n
- 3 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred/n - BLS,
ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required/n - Willingness to
float to other campuses or hospital units as needed/n - Must reside
at least 150 miles from facility (travel nurse requirement)/n -
First-time travel nurses welcome/n - Experience with Allscripts or
Altera charting systems preferred/n - Flu vaccine required
(medical/religious exemptions considered)/n /n/nLabor & Delivery RN
Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to
mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and recovery/n -
Monitor maternal and fetal health, interpret fetal heart tracings,
and respond to obstetric emergencies/n - Assist with vaginal
deliveries, cesarean sections, and high-risk births/n - Administer
medications, IVs, and manage epidural anesthesia/n - Support
breastfeeding and educate new parents/n - Perform newborn
assessments, including APGAR scoring and thermoregulation/n -
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams/n - Follow infection control
protocols and hospital policies/n - Participate in orientation and
