currently seeking a Registered Nurse L&D Labor and Delivery
Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment Location: Brownwood, TX Start
Date: November 10, 2025 Duration: 13 weeks About the Role We are
seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a
night-shift travel assignment in a low-volume birth facility. This
role is ideal for a clinician with strong obstetric experience who
is passionate about maternal and neonatal care. You will be part of
a collaborative team supporting patients through labor, delivery,
recovery, and postpartum care. Key Responsibilities - Manage labor
and delivery processes including vaginal deliveries, C-sections,
and postpartum recovery - Circulate and scrub for C-sections;
assist with forceps/vacuum extractions and amnioinfusions -
Administer medications including magnesium sulfate, Pitocin,
prostaglandins, and antihypertensives - Provide neonatal care
including APGAR scoring, thermoregulation, cord care, and discharge
education - Monitor fetal well-being using external and internal
fetal monitoring, IUPC placement, and NSTs - Support breastfeeding
and baby-friendly protocols - Float within scope to meet facility
needs, including antepartum and ED medical holds Shift Details -
Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) - Block
Scheduling: Not approved - Weekend Requirement: Six weekend shifts
per six-week period Required Certifications - ACLS - BLS - NRP
