TeamHealth surgeon, you'll enjoy a flexible schedule, working just
14 days per month! We're seeking outstanding general surgeons to
join our trauma and acute care surgery team at Hendrick Medical
Center in Abilene, Texas. This Level III trauma center features
state-of-the-art facilities, 14 modern operating rooms, and a
dedicated staff that fosters a collaborative and supportive
environment. Qualifications - Fellowship in surgical critical care
or trauma; accepting new grads - MD or DO: board certified - Active
or in-process Texas medical license - Willing to relocate to the
Abilene area What you can expect - Newly enhanced compensation
package - Work 7 days on/7 days off; 24-hour shift - 12 hours of
primary call then 12 hours of back-up call coverage - Do not need
to remain in-house during their 12-hour back-up call coverage - 2
surgeon model with APC support - Moderate trauma with a variety of
cases: 80% general surgery, 20% trauma - Dedicated OR time -
Support from anesthesia, IV radiology - Evaluation of all trauma
and emergency general surgery consults - Outpatient follow-up in
