This role involves working both in inpatient rehabilitation settings and providing home health services, offering a varied and fulfilling work environment. Our occupational therapists are vital to the recovery and progress of patients, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life. Assess patients' physical and functional abilities to determine rehabilitation needs. Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting patient independence in daily activities. Utilize therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and cognitive functions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in patient assessment and therapy techniques Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. NBCOT certification preferred.
