ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Brownwood, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Cath Lab Job Details: • Work day shifts approximately 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with potential for shift to vary by an hour • On-call responsibilities required • Weekend coverage varies throughout contract • 1:1 patient ratio in a 7-bed unit with 1 room • Care for adult and geriatric patients • 2 years of experience required in catheterization laboratory • Travel experience strongly preferred • Must live more than 150 miles away from facility or in a metropolitan area • Experience with MedHost and GE MacLab preferred • Allscripts charting system experience required, Altera experience preferred • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale • Texas RN license or compact license required • Must complete facility drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing • Skills include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, electrophysiology lab procedures, transesophageal echocardiograms, cardiac stent placement, pacemaker/defibrillator procedures, IABP and Impella insertion, vascular closure systems, and monitoring procedural sedation • Work with specialized equipment including MERGE HEMO, Philips X-ray, Philips IVUS, and Penumbra systems • Handle patient diagnoses including STEMI, ACS, NSTEMI, PAD, CAD, and arrhythmia management • Complete 6-8 hours of non-billable orientation modules Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiovascular services program with a state-of-the-art catheterization laboratory.
