Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • Travel experience is preferred from any number of months. • Experience with Altera Digital Health a Harris Company is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission). • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >150 miles from facility to be submitted. • Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Hendrick Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Hendrick Medical Center. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Required Skills Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Total joint replacement, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Cardiovascular, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, TR Band, IV insulin protocols, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA, Titrate Cardiac drips, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac.
