Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Abilene, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,330 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Abilene, Texas, 79601! Job Title: Operating Room RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Current RN license required Certifications: ACLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Craniotomy and burr hole experience required Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, General/Robotics experience required Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. The schedule will likely be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with call and late days as required. Experience with neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, and general/robotics is necessary. Candidates must have prior craniotomy and burr hole experience. Charge experience is preferred along with familiarity with trauma level I and II. Experience with patient ratios of 1:1 is expected. Charting system experience is preferred. Candidates should have skills in Da Vinci Xi surgical system, general OR procedures, and various surgical techniques. Interdisciplinary support will include various teams such as IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services. Candidates should be aware that a drug screen will be conducted upon arrival. A positive result from the drug screen will lead to automatic cancellation. Please do not use products that may result in a positive drug screen prior to arrival.
