Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team, focused on providing top-tier rehabilitation and post-acute services. In this role, you will work both in our modern facilities and in patient homes, applying your skills to help patients regain independence and functionality after illness or injury. Our integrated healthcare services model allows for a unique continuum of care, where your expert interventions directly contribute to the holistic recovery and well-being of our patients. Assess patient condition and create treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient functionality and independence. Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care. Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and lifestyle adjustments. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in creating and following through with individualized care plans Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong observational skills and attention to detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist. Preferred: Certification in Physical Agent Modalities (CPAM), or other relevant specialty certifications.
