Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic team, providing unparalleled rehabilitative care to our patients in both facility-based and home-based settings. Our Occupational Therapists play a pivotal role in our integrated healthcare services, using specialized therapeutic techniques to enhance patient independence and functional abilities post-acute events. The successful candidate will develop and implement effective patient treatment plans tailored to individual needs, focusing on improving patients' daily living and work skills through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. Evaluate patient conditions and develop appropriate rehabilitation goals and treatments. Implement treatment plans that focus on functional movements and daily activities. Educate patients and family members about treatment plans and ongoing management strategies. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. Adhere to all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards in healthcare. Expertise in therapeutic techniques and diagnostics Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team Ability to handle physically demanding tasks Proficient in record keeping and documentation Knowledge of latest trends and technologies in occupational therapy Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state licensure as an OT. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification preferred.
