Encompass Health seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic team, focused on providing top tier rehabilitation and post-acute services in both facility-based and home-based settings. This position plays a critical role in helping patients regain their ability to perform daily living and work activities in a patient-centric, compassionate environment. Our OTs are supported with state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative interdisciplinary team, reflecting our commitment to high-quality, cost-effective care that prioritizes patient wellness and recovery. Assess patient needs and design effective treatment plans. Implement therapeutic activities to aid patients in skill recovery and enhanced functionality. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. Educate patients and families about care strategies and home exercises. Maintain patient records and comply with healthcare regulations. Adjust treatment plans as necessary to accommodate patient progress. Guide and mentor occupational therapy assistants and students. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in utilizing OT tools and software for patient care. Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions relevant to occupational therapy. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid and current Occupational Therapist license. Preferred: NBCOT Certified Occupational Therapist.
