Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team, where we are committed to providing the highest quality of rehabilitation and post-acute services in both facility-based and home-based settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well-being. This role is pivotal in helping patients recover from injuries, illnesses, and surgeries to improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. Develop and implement tailored care plans based on patient evaluations. Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary. Educate patients and families about their conditions and the necessary steps for rehabilitation. Operate and demonstrate therapy equipment. Maintain accurate patient records and document patient care services. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. Advise on the procurement and use of aids and other devices. Strong understanding of rehabilitation techniques and principles. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to think critically and make quick decisions. High level of compassion and empathy. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting patients. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state license as a Physical Therapist. CPR and First Aid certifications.
