Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Brownwood, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,020 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred. Experience with patient ratios of 2:1 is required. Experience with charting systems is required. Description: We are seeking a Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse for an urgent need in our facility. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to critically ill patients. Candidates must have experience in managing multisystem organ dysfunction and failure. They should be skilled in vascular access, including PICC and central line management. Surgical intensive care experience is desired. Knowledge of dysrhythmias and their management is essential. Experience with ventilator management and care of ventilated patients is required. Knowledge of infection prevention and isolation precautions is a must. The role includes understanding and interpreting arterial blood gases. Successful candidates will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory services and physical therapy. Weekly weekend coverage is required. Candidates must comply with a mandatory drug screening process. Local candidates are preferred for this position.
