Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Brownwood,
Texas, 76801! Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse Profession:
Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2
years in Labor and Delivery License: Active Nursing License
required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Previous charge
experience Patient ratio experience of 1:2 Experience with fetal
monitoring systems Description: Start preferred on 03/30. May
consider flexible hours based on volume of needs. Mandatory
vaccination for flu. Exemptions for medical/religious reasons only.
Candidates must have experience in the following skills:
Mother/Baby care Use of IUPC placement and calibration Drawing
venous blood Administration of anticoagulation therapy Recognizing
and managing abnormal fetal heart rate patterns Assisting with
vaginal deliveries Recovering C-sections Caring for postpartum
patients The facility's patient demographics include adults. Daily
patient census ranges from 1-5. Unit features include level II
maternal care. Specialty procedures performed include induction and
augmentation of labor. Candidates should be familiar with patient
diagnoses relevant to labor and delivery. Compliance with drug
screening rules is essential. Candidates must avoid substances that
may result in a positive drug screen. Documentation must be
completed in a timely manner. Modules for training complete during
orientation. Experience in travel nursing is preferred, as is
familiarity with charting systems. Flexibility in submitting
required documents is possible based on communication of timelines.
