Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week travel assignment at a long-term care facility in Robert Lee, Texas. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and help patients regain independence in their daily living and functional activities. The OT will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapy staff to ensure high-quality patient care and optimal rehabilitation outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Evaluate residents’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans • Assist patients in improving daily living skills such as dressing, bathing, and mobility • Use therapeutic activities and adaptive equipment to enhance independence • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory guidelines • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery Requirements • Active Texas Occupational Therapist License • Minimum 1 year of OT experience (LTC or Rehab preferred) • BLS Certification • Strong communication and patient-care skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
