Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated LPN/LVN (Licensed
Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse) to join our skilled team
of healthcare professionals. Our mission is to provide top-notch,
integrated health services in both facility-based and home-based
settings, specializing in rehabilitation and post-acute services.
As an LPN/LVN at Encompass Health, you will play a crucial role in
delivering high-quality, cost-effective care tailored to the needs
of our patients. This position requires a professional who is
capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, patient-focused
environment. Provide basic medical care, including monitoring of
vital signs, administering medication, and recording patients’
health issues. Assist with daily living activities such as
dressing, personal hygiene, and mobility. Collaborate with
registered nurses and doctors to plan, implement, and evaluate
patient care plans. Communicate effectively with patients and their
families, offering emotional support and information about care
processes. Maintain accurate patient records and report any
significant changes in patient's condition to the supervisory
medical staff. Ensure compliance with safety and health guidelines,
standards, and procedures. Strong practical skills in patient care
and safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures. Capable of
working efficiently in both team-based and independent capacities.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current
LPN/LVN license in the state of employment. Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification.
