Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Snyder, TX Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,280 to $1,440 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $32.00 - $36.00/Hourly. Summary: A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Long Term Care works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic services to residents. They help improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall physical function in elderly or chronically ill patients living in long-term care facilities. Responsibilities: Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist. Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation techniques. Help residents improve strength, balance, coordination, and range of motion. Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of assistive devices (e.g., walkers, wheelchairs). Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist. Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques. Requirements Responsibilities: 2 years PTA experience Required, TX or compact license Required, BLS Certification, Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
