MRI Tech Location: Brownwood, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,806 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 13 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in service line required. License: Valid license required. Certifications: ARMRIT, ARRT MR, ARRT R, BLS. Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred. Description: SCHEDULE IS 3x13s from Saturday to Monday (6:30 am - 8:30 pm). Call required: roughly one weekend per month, including overnight call. Candidate should serve as backup call on Saturdays and Sundays (day shift only). Experience in various MR procedures is essential. Candidates must be able to perform head magnetic resonance venography (MRV) and magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP). Skills in adult acute care and adult outpatient settings are preferred. Knowledge of PACS and preparation/administration of contrast media is necessary. Experience with gradient echo imaging and isolation precautions/PPE is required. Candidates should also be proficient in starting peripheral IVs. Charting experience is not required but preferred. Familiarity with diverse patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, is essential. Daily census experience of around 55 and managing approximately 15 visits per day is advantageous. Ability to adhere to safety regulations, including radiation safety protocols, is critical. Candidates must be ready to complete any necessary lab items promptly upon acceptance. Attention to detail in documentation and compliance with drug screening policies is mandatory.
