Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Knox City, TX Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,280 to $1,440 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $32.00 - $36.00/Hourly. Summary: A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Long Term Care (LTC) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation and mobility support to residents in long-term care facilities. The PTA helps patients maintain or improve functional abilities, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life. Responsibilities: ?Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities. Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Monitor and document residents’ progress, reporting changes to the Physical Therapist. Provide education to residents and caregivers on exercises, safe movement, and fall prevention. Assist residents with assistive devices such as walkers, canes, or wheelchairs. Requirements Requirements: 2 years Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) experience, BLS Certification, Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
