Ultrasound Tech Location: San Angelo, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,226 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Ultrasound Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: General Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Required Certifications: ARRT S*, ARDMS OB/GYN*, BLS, ARDMS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratio management - Familiarity with charting systems, preferably Epic - Community hospital experience preferred - Travel experience preferred Description: We are seeking a Sonographer for outpatient OB ultrasound. The position requires expertise in adult and obstetric ultrasound. Candidates should be proficient in first, second, and third trimester assessments. Skills in measuring the amniotic fluid index, performing fetal anatomical surveys, and conducting fetal echocardiograms are essential. Experience in handling cases of multiple pregnancies, placenta previa, and umbilical cord Doppler is required. Proficiency in transvaginal and abdominal ultrasound techniques, including measurements of the uterus, ovaries, and fetal anatomy, is necessary. Candidates should also be capable of assessing fetal head, heart, abdomen, and extremities. Daily patient interactions are expected, with a patient census of approximately 13. The facility has 6 rooms and 6 beds available for patient care. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to meet clinical lab requirements within the specified timeframe. We encourage applications from individuals with strong travel and interdisciplinary support experience. The position does not require weekend coverage or float assignments.
