Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in San Angelo,
Texas, 76903! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours
per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required, 3 years preferred
License: RN License Certifications: BLS, NRP (within 6 months of
hire), ACLS (within 1 year of hire), Breastfeeding Education
(within 90 days), Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: Nursing Degree
Required to float to like units as needed Travel experience
preferred Description: A registered nurse is needed for a busy
labor and delivery unit. The candidate should possess a nursing
degree and an active RN license. BLS certification is required. NRP
certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
Breastfeeding education certification must be completed within 90
days of hire. ACLS certification must be obtained within one year
of hire. Experience in telemetry interpretation, APGAR scores, and
assisting with deliveries is essential. Candidates should be
skilled in using fetal heart monitoring and recognizing abnormal
fetal heart rate patterns. The role includes responsibilities such
as administration of medications, management of IVs, and patient
care during labor and delivery. Candidates must have experience
with high-risk deliveries and postpartum care. Knowledge of infant
care protocols and breastfeeding support is preferred. The ability
to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate
effectively is necessary. Candidates must adhere to infection
control protocols and safety standards. Availability to float to
