Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to contribute to our mission of setting the standard for high-quality, cost-effective rehabilitation and post-acute care. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of professionals in both facility-based and home-based settings to deliver patient-centered care tailored to the needs of our patients. As a key member of our team, your work will focus on supporting patient recovery and promoting an environment of health and well-being. Provide nursing care and support to patients according to the established patient care plan Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse Administer medications, monitor for side-effects and document all provided treatments Collaborate with registered nurses and doctors to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, medications, and self-care skills Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff Strong practical nursing skills and knowledge of patient care best practices Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team and independently Profound knowledge of medication administration and health and safety guidelines Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN or LVN license Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required IV certification preferred
