Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join
our team, providing top-tier healthcare and rehabilitation services
in both facility-based and home-based settings. This role is
pivotal in implementing patient-centered care plans and ensuring
the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective healthcare. The ideal
candidate will possess a profound dedication to enhancing patient
health and a commitment to recovery and rehabilitation following
the unique approach of integrated healthcare services. Assess
patient conditions by monitoring vital signs, conducting physical
examinations, and obtaining patient histories. Develop and
implement nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs
in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Administer
medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor all aspects of
patient care, including diet and physical activity. Educate
patients and their families on illness and injury management and
prevention, post-treatment home care needs, and self-management of
chronic conditions. Maintain accurate documentation of patient
care, condition, progress, and concerns in compliance with
applicable laws, regulations, and protocols. Provide emotional
support and compassion to patients and their families, helping
navigate healthcare processes and rehabilitation. Ensure the
maintenance of a clean, safe, and organized environment for
healthcare delivery. Proficient in clinical skills with an ability
to handle high stress situations Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills, capable of effectively educating patients and
families Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
necessary for making quick and appropriate decisions Ability to
work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary health team Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) Certification preferred
