Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/10/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with craniotomy and burr hole experience for a day shift assignment requiring a TX or compact license. Responsibilities - Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting - Primary cases include neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, general/robotics/trauma - Day shift schedule: Monday to Wednesday, 3x12 hour shifts from 6:30 to 19:00 - Late days and call duties required - May float to GI for endo/advanced GI procedures - Preferred experience with Altera charting system - Modules will be completed during orientation and take an average of 6-8 hours - Must be available to start required orientation dates - References from two supervisors within the last three years of employment required - Travel experience preferred Requirements - Active TX or compact RN license required at time of consideration - Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience within the relevant service lines - Craniotomy and burr hole experience required - Endo/advanced GI procedure experience preferred - Certification verification required - Must reside at least 150 miles from facility location - Return travelers must have at least one year since last permanent staff role - Completion of necessary labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a valid plan Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-620232.
