Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position in Texas requiring a compact RN license and specialized certifications. Responsibilities - Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting - Night shift, working 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - May be required to float to other floors or campuses as needed - Mandatory facility drug screen upon arrival, including testing for Marijuana and CBD products - Clinicians must complete non-billable modules during orientation, averaging 6-8 hours - Must be flexible with floating and work assignments as needed - References from two supervisors within the last three years of employment are required - Required documentation must be submitted by the specified deadline for consideration Requirements - Active TX or compact RN license in hand - Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required - Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience - Completion of required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan in place - Preferred experience with Altera charting system, but not required - Must live at least 150 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted - Prior perm staff must be gone at least 1 year to return as a traveler - Travel experience preferred Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-664390.
