Description -****Average hourly rate is $16.76 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)**** -Do you like working with children and families and want a flexible working schedule? -Then Texas Family Initiative has the job for you! -We are looking for full-time Permanency Support Worker to add to our team! Put your High School Diploma, or equivalent, to use. Two years working with children and families preferred. If you have these requirements, and a valid drivers license, we will teach you the rest! - - -A Day in The Life as a Permanency Support Worker -As a Permanency Support Worker, you will provide support to Permanency Case Managers, and a Permanency Supervisor, in your unit. You may assist with transporting families to visitation, observing those visits, documenting visits, or help file legal documents for your unit. Permanency Support Workers may be asked to assist in teaching parenting techniques to parents during visitation. Support Workers work as part of a team to access resources, plan, and advocate to improve the quality of people's lives. - - -What We Are Looking For -We are looking for someone who is compassionate, has empathy, and who wants to help families in times of crisis.
