About Us: -Join our dynamic team at Texas Family Initiative as a
full-time Family Preservation Therapist. We are seeking a
passionate and dedicated individual to contribute to the well-being
of children and families facing developmental, emotional, and
behavioral challenges. - -Requirements: -*Master's degree in a
Human Services field from an accredited university -*Minimum of two
years' experience working with youth and families dealing with
developmental, emotional, and/or behavioral - -difficulties
-*Applicable state clinical licensure required *Valid driver's
license and adherence to agency underwriting standards -
Responsibilities: -As a Family Preservation Therapist, you'll work
with a team to collaborate with Case Managers to ensure the safe
and thriving development of children within their home
environments. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, deliver
evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and provide guidance in
teaching essential life skills, including emotion regulation,
fostering healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and effective
communication within families. -
Working seamlessly within our dedicated team, you will not only
engage in resourceful planning and advocacy but will also receive
specialized training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
(TF-CBT), Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Motivational
Interviewing, and Parent-Child Interactive Treatment. This training
equips you with the latest and most effective approaches, enhancing
your ability to address the unique needs of the families we serve.
