Summary:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all equipment and machinery is in good working condition. Also responsible for making repairs and performing preventative maintenance while following all company policies & processes.This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Perform preventative maintenance on the machinery and building, as needed* Must know and understand the emergency procedures in the event of equipment failure* Repair equipment as needed due to breakdowns* Responsible for overseeing maintenance of the facility and all equipment.* Must work closely with production to ensure that all product is produced in a timely manner with the highest food safety and quality standards* Proficient in electrical and mechanical work and troubleshooting* Ability to design and implement ideas and innovations to successful projects to increase equipment efficacy, safety, and reliability* Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts* Accept and adapt easily to change* Ensure that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement* Operate job-related equipment with or without an accommodation* Meet physical demands of job with or without an accommodation* Perform other duties as assignedRequirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and assigned tasksatisfactorily.
