Join our acute care hospital team and provide essential radiologic services to a diverse patient population in a welcoming Texas community known for its scenic parks and small-town charm./n /n/nRadiology Job Details/n /n - Position Type: Travel Radiology Technician/n - Location: Brownwood, Texas (76801) – Texas healthcare jobs/n - Setting: Acute Care Hospital/n - Start Date: February 9, 2026/n - End Date: May 11, 2026/n - Contract Duration: 13 weeks/n - Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (12:30pm – 11:00pm), Saturday through Tuesday (firm schedule), with call required/n - Hours per Week: 40/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1850 - $1990/n /n/nRadiology Technician Qualifications/n /n - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic X-Ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist/n - Prior travel healthcare experience required/n - Current ARRT Registered (Radiologic Technologist certification)/n - Texas Medical Board – MRT License/n - CPR-BLS Certification/n - Ability to provide clinical support for all patient age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics/n - Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer/n - Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)/n - Previous permanent staff must be gone 1 year to return as a traveler/n - Altera charting experience preferred/n /n/nRadiology Technician Responsibilities/n /n - Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in an acute care hospital setting/n - Operate and maintain radiologic equipment including PACS, C-Arm, and specialized imaging devices/n - Prepare and administer contrast media as needed/n - Ensure radiation safety and infection prevention protocols are followed/n - Provide bedside and portable imaging for ICU, NICU, Emergency, Operating Room, and Outpatient departments/n - Handle trauma cases and a variety of imaging studies (abdomen, chest, spine, extremities, skull, etc.)/n - Participate in call rotation as scheduled/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care/n /n/n /n Experience the warmth and hospitality of Brownwood, Texas while advancing your radiology career in a supportive healthcare environment.
