Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a dynamic post-acute setting. Our LPNs / LVNs play a critical role in our patient care teams, offering both emotional and practical support to patients. As part of Encompass Health, you will be involved in implementing integrated healthcare services that adhere to our high standards of care, helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a variety of healthcare professionals, contributing to treatment plans, and making a real difference in the lives of our patients. Provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse, with a focus on patient assessment, monitoring, and treatment. Support the implementation of clinical and therapeutic plans for patients in a rehabilitation setting. Administer medications and maintain accurate patient records. Assist with diagnostic tests and process lab results. Educate patients and their families on treatment and rehabilitation processes. Strong practical nursing skills, including patient assessment and care planning. Ability to administer medications effectively and safely. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and treatments. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN or LVN license in the state of practice. CPR certification.
