Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: Brownwood, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,726 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant service line required License: RN License or Compact License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with MedHost and GE MacLab. Travel experience strongly preferred. Must live more than 150 miles away from the facility or in a metropolitan area. Description: 4/13 start preferred; may consider 4/27. Day shift approximately 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (end of shift could vary by an hour or so). On-call required. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient ratio experience required. Experience with Allscripts charting system is necessary. Skills: Electrophysiology Lab experience. Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) experience. Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization experience. Pre and post procedure care. Cardiac stent placement experience. Performed diagnostic catheterizations on adults. IABP placement and removal experience. Impella insertion experience. Interventional catheterizations experience. Performed left heart catheterization. Pacemaker and defibrillator lead extraction and removal experience. Experience with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and pulmonary artery line monitoring. Experience with right heart catheterization. Ventricular assist device insertion experience. Insertion and programming of AICDs and pacemaker insertion experience. Renal artery stent placement and carotid angiography experience. Angioplasty and upper and lower extremity angiography experience. Experience with antiarrhythmics and antihypertensives. Knowledge of emergency medications and IV vasopressors. Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring. Familiar with reversal agents and thrombolytics. Capable of starting and maintaining IVs. Knowledge of infection prevention protocols. Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias. Understanding of isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE). Experienced in monitoring procedural sedation. Skill in sheath removal and monitoring. Familiarity with topical hemostasis methods. Experience with vascular closure systems. Knowledge of activated clotting time (ACT). Proficient in radiation and laser safety. Ability to obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG and perform cardioversion. Experience circulating procedures. Patient Age Groups: Adults, geriatrics. Patient diagnoses: STEMI, ACS, NSTEMI, PAD, CAD, arrhythmia management. Special procedures include ICD implants, pacemakers, and Impella balloon pump experience. Familiarity with special equipment used in this specialty. Compliance with travel requirements is expected. Candidates are subject to a drug screening upon arrival.
